Word Join

1. Information we collect

Word Join does not require an account, sign-in, or profile. We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

The App and its third-party advertising SDKs may automatically process the following categories of information on your device:

• Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS if you allow tracking)
• Coarse device information (model, OS version, language, country, timezone)
• Network information (IP address, mobile carrier, connection type)
• Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completions)
• Crash and performance diagnostics generated by the operating system

2. How we use information

• To run the game and save your level progress locally on your device
• To serve banner ads and, when you tap "Watch ad" for a hint refill, rewarded ads
• To measure ad performance and prevent fraud (via our ad partners)
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Advertising & mediation

Word Join displays ads through Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource), which mediates additional advertising networks. These SDKs may collect the categories listed in section 1 to deliver relevant ads and measure performance.

Ad partners currently integrated:

• Unity LevelPlay / ironSource — privacy policy
• Unity Ads — privacy policy
• AppLovin — privacy policy

Additional mediation networks may be added over time; this list will be updated accordingly.

4. iOS tracking & Android Ad ID

iOS: On first launch we present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ad partners will not access the IDFA and you will see contextual (non-personalized) ads instead of personalized ones.

Android: The App uses the Google Advertising ID (permission com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). You can reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads.

5. On-device storage

Your current level number is stored locally using the device's secure app storage (React Native AsyncStorage). It never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

6. Children's privacy

Word Join is a general-audience word game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your choices & rights

• Reset or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings
• Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored progress
• Depending on your region (EEA, UK, California, etc.), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information processed by our ad partners — see each partner's privacy policy linked above for their request forms

8. Retention

Level progress persists on your device until you uninstall or clear it. Data processed by ad partners is retained per their own retention policies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, but no system is 100% secure. Traffic to ad partners uses HTTPS.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
